Only a few weeks ago, whilst entertaining at the Croydon Goans Christmas charity dance run by Fiona Lobo and her committee, I was fortunate to win two lucky raffle tickets for the GOAN EXTRAVAGANZA dance held on Saturday 5th January 2013 at Wandsworth Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, and at the function you invited me to collect a birthday gift which came to me as a big surprise for which I am most grateful to you and your committee.
As a token of gratitude, I have put together a blog spot titled goanextravaganza with some photographs and a couple of video clips which you can share with some of your members and friends. Please note, the photos are not of a high quality as the lighting was a bit too low (cameraman's excuses).
I must compliment you, your previous President Flavio Gracias and all your committee members for organising a grand dance which fell on my birthday Saturday January 5 where I was fortunate to attend.
Music by Electric Dreams and Say One Do One Disco certainly provided good music to keep everyone's feet tapping throughout the night.
Your raffle bumper prizes to include Return Flight Tickets for two to India, Sony LED TV, Sony Camera, Sony Walkman, Tilda Hamper and many more made the raffle very attractive. I had no luck this time.
I take this opportunity of wishing you and all your members of the Goan Association (UK) Ltd., every success in the future.
